Towing service is mandatory for all vessels
carrying dangerous cargo and lubricants, as well
as for other goods and passenger vessels over 1,000 GRT.
A 20% discount on the base tariff applies to Ro-Ro
and passenger vessels.
A 20% surcharge on the base tariff applies to
vessels carrying dangerous goods and fuels.
A 50% surcharge on the base tariff applies to
vessels being towed without the aid of their machinery.
When a vessel shifts from one quay to another, 100%
of the tariff is charged.
The tariff for keeping the tug on standby
(assistance) is set at 40% of the base tariff.
The tariff for services and towing of vessels
outside the ports is 1,000 Euros/hour.
The above tariffs apply when services are provided
from 7.00 AM to 5.00 PM. For services
performed between 5.00 PM to 7.00 AM, on Sundays, and on official holidays, a 50% surcharge on
the base tariff applies.
Vessels carrying dangerous cargo and fuel with a
length over 130 m, and cargo vessels with a
length over 140 m, are required to use the services of two tugs during port entries and
departures, regardless of whether they are equipped with bow thrusters.
Towing services are calculated based on the actual
working time according to the approved
tariffs “per hour or part thereof.” Any part of an hour is considered a full hour. The working
time is calculated from the moment the tug leaves its base until the moment it returns.
For salvage operations, services are provided based
on a prior verbal or written agreement.
